Rebecca Woods is an Australian former professional surfer, World Junior Champion and nine-year competitor on the ASP World Tour. She holds a Master of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences, majoring in Human Structure and Function Osteopathic Studies, from Southern Cross University, and is a registered osteopath specialising in performance, recovery and wellbeing. Rebecca has also spent years coaching and mentoring emerging professional surfers and is a regular commentator for World Surf League events.
Rebecca Woods is an Australian professional surfer from Copacabana on the NSW Central Coast, recognised for her powerful surfing style and success on the international stage. She won the Australian Junior Surfing Title at just 16 years old and became World Junior Champion at 18, before going on to compete for nine consecutive years on the elite ASP World Tour against the world’s best surfers.
Following her professional surfing career, Rebecca pursued her passion for health, performance and recovery through higher education. She holds a Master of Osteopathic Medicine, Clinical Science Osteopathy, and a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences, majoring in Human Structure and Function Osteopathic Studies, from Southern Cross University. Rebecca is also a registered osteopath with a strong focus on movement, breathing, rehabilitation and overall wellbeing.
Rebecca has spent many years coaching and mentoring the next generation of professional surfers, sharing her experience both in and out of the water. She is also a regular featured commentator for World Surf League events, respected for her deep knowledge of surfing, athlete performance and competitive strategy.
Today, Rebecca combines her extensive experience as a professional athlete with her clinical knowledge and deep connection to the ocean. She continues to inspire others to improve resilience, recovery and human performance both in and out of the water.
