about pete
With more than two decades of frontline emergency and rescue experience, Peter brings a calm, capable, and highly adaptable presence to every environment he works in. As a Special Operations and Extended Care Paramedic with NSW Ambulance, he has spent his career operating in remote, high-risk, and resource-limited settings across Australia and internationally.
Peter’s background spans technical rescue, prolonged field care, in-water rescue, tactical medicine, and remote area operations, with extensive experience working alongside fire, police, aviation, and rescue agencies in complex and high-pressure environments. Equally important to him is the human side of the job — building trust, communicating clearly, and supporting people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives with empathy and professionalism.
A lifelong surfer and ocean enthusiast, Peter has always been drawn to the water, adventure, and exploration. His passion for travel and working in extreme environments has taken him from remote wilderness settings to coastal and offshore operations, combining his love of the outdoors with advanced medical and rescue capability. Whether providing medical coverage in isolated locations, supporting expedition-style operations, or teaching and mentoring others, he thrives in dynamic environments where teamwork, resilience, and adaptability matter most.
Outside of operational work, Peter is deeply committed to education, peer support, and helping others develop confidence in challenging environments. His approach combines practical experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for people, safety, and adventure.
